What you help us achieve:
With your support, our work has helped to transform the lives of many people living in poverty. From England to India, to The Gambia and Zimbabwe.
We have tackled food poverty in Birmingham, arranged for an elderly gentleman to travel to Mecca for the Hajj, provided a new water supply to a village in India and built a community centre for a village in The Gambia.
Our work continues and we are engaged in a range of exciting projects in Gambia, India, Zimbabwe and Palestine.
One of the first projects we got involved in was to give food to hungry people. This is an issue that affects millions of starving people every day and something we take for granted. As Muslims, we are encouraged to provide food to the hungry and there are numerous schemes, which are ongoing to do that. Our Iftar food programme runs throughout the blessed month of Ramadan providing cooked food to those who are fasting. This is a very satisfying project, which benefits many deserving people.
